20 Original Mod Classics review

Pretty much as it says, the budget collection of mod tunes we flagged up last week is now review, that being 20 Original Mod Classics.

Yes, there are 20 tracks, collectively very cheap too at £3.97. But does cheap mean cheap or cheerful? You'll have to read on to find out.

This is a great budget comp, featuring some ace face 60s mods like Fleur De Lys, The Eyes, Billy Nicholls & Timebox, not to mention a load of soul stompers. The selection elevates it above many similar comps of the usual songs. Ace artwork as well, not to mention track-by-track sleeve notes by uber-mod Paulo Hewitt. Highly recommended - possibly the best £3 I've spent all year!
