Nick Cave reportedly writing script for The Crow movie remake

Remember The Crow? It was a dark, comic book-style action thriller from 1994, originally starring Brandon Lee (above). Well, apparently, it's being remade and according to Spinner, Nick Cave is said to be writing the script.

Producer Ed Pressman has apparently asked Cave to rewrite a screenplay initially penned by director Steve Norrington. Cave has done screenplay work before, on the likes of 'The Proposition' and 'Ghosts... of the Civil Dead' and has recently finished a script for a movie titled 'The Death of a Ladies Man,' which is currently in development. So it's not a complete odd idea.

Once thing is for sure - if Cave does write it, the new version of The Crow is certain to be dark and just a little bit weird.
