Almost Grown Weekender - Southend

Trying to list as many events as I can in the 'news' until the new site goes live, including the Almost Grown weekender, which takes place at Southend on Sea.

The dates are 11th - 13th May, coinciding with the Lambretta Club of Great Britain scooter rally in the town, with events at three venues over three days. Those events are:

Friday:
Welcome party at Sak's Underground, Clifftown Road, Southend.
Time: 9pm - 2am
Admission: £5
The best in mod, 60s soul, northern, rocking' R&B, ska and Motown with DJs Rob Messer, Eddie Paget and Chad Frederick.

Saturday daytime:
Entertainment and vintage market, with free entry. If you want a stall, contact Ron at robert_messer@onetel.net.

Saturday allnighter:
Three floors of clubs sounds, plus live music from Bif Bam Pow and a separate ska and rocksteady room from One Thousand Tons.
Admission: £10

Sunday:
Have a lazy Sunday from noon to late, wind done to great sounds with open decks and free entry.
